PRIMARY ROLE: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and service of complex Audio, Video, and Control systems. Can work unsupervised and be responsible for completing work with attention to detail and meet a high level quality standard.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
All responsibilities are to be performed within Delaware Audio Visual Integration & Design installation and safety procedures, policies and specifications.

  • Review and understand electronic systems requirements and documentation (blueprints, etc.)
  • Use documentation to lay out components
  • Gather inventory/parts
  • Inventory tools
  • Label tag wire/cable per documentation
  • Install support structure and/or rigging when required for components (projectors, speakers, screens, lifts, racks, etc.)
  • Complete pre-assemblies and fabrication of sub systems (wall plates, floor plates, etc.)
  • Pre-test components
  • Install components in main and remote locations
  • Prepare, route, splice and terminate cables and connectors
  • Install or enter control programs, if applicable
  • Power up, operate and test all functions of complex level systems
  • Calibrate complex level systems for maximum performance
  • Identify, diagnose and document any problems, errors or discrepancies of complex level systems
  • Review user documentation manuals and instructions
  • Review final blueprints and wiring diagrams for accuracy
  • Complete work reports and time sheets
  • Communicate effectively with other trades, clients, co-workers and management
  • Create and update safety and training material
  • Adhere to vehicle standard operating procedures
  • Train and supervise technician levels I and II
  • Actively participate in weekly departmental Design, Sales and Installation meetings
  • Perform functions outside of normal job requirements when required for the successful operation of the company

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  At least 4 years’ experience as a Technician Level II (Extensive commensurate professional experience may be substituted.)
  • CTS Certification
  • Thorough understanding of installation and safety procedures, policies and specifications
  • Thorough understanding of complex system testing and calibration equipment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Positive attitude and confident independent decision maker

PRIMARY ROLE: The Audio Visual Installation Account Executive will sell integrated audio, video, digital signage, and lighting systems and coordinate projects with Design-Engineering, Project Management, and installation technicians. The position requires generating new sales; achieve monthly sales goals and maintaining existing customer relationships.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop monthly sales leads by prospecting for new business.
2. Work with design and support personnel to sell and develop audio, video, and lighting systems.
3. Coordinate installation project details with technical services and purchasing to manage the project.
4. Maintain existing customer relationships and respond in a timely and professional manner to all customers.
5. Track and provide accurate sales information to management using CRM software.
6. Acquire and maintain knowledge of all product lines and services offered within company.
7. Achieve sales goals and objectives.
8. Responsible for billing customers in a timely and accurate method and maintaining accurate billing records.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Audio Visual Installation Account Executive shall possess a minimum of three to five years of sales experience in A/V systems integration or sales experience with professional audio, video, lighting, event production, alarm/nurse call, commercial security & fire, CCTV installation OR a four-year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in business, marketing or communications. The Audio Visual Installation Account Executive should possess knowledge of sales, customer relations, and project management.

 

TRAVEL:
It is expected that this position will require a moderate amount of travel to customer and vendor sites
